We made several hunts over the last couple of months with no hogs to show for it. We had a couple of hunts with success, but more often than not, no hogs.
We went out weekend before last and got three hogs. That has been out most productive hunt in a while, but we hope to change that soon with the addition of a new pasture that we have never hunted before and is packed with pigs. We're looking at another 3 weeks or so before they let is in due to oil field traffic on the property that is still taking place. It should be a rodeo once we do get access.
As far as pups go, I know I get phone calls often and I do my best to refer them to other KSBA members that may have pups on the ground. We haven't had a litter of Kemmers this fall/winter but I may cross Jack to Daisy and then again to their daughter, Heather, later this spring/summer.
I should also have a litter of American Bulldogs coming in early summer, just waiting on Tonka to come into heat and I'll cross her to Digger.
Until next time, God bless and keep the dogs in the woods,
